About the Show

Since its beginning in 2008, the Hill Country Rolling Sculpture Car Show has become an institution in Bee Cave, with over 200 collector cars, antiques, modern classics, exotics, muscle cars, street rods, foreign sports cars, art cars, and even bicycles lining Hill Country Boulevard and its side streets to the enjoyment of the participants and spectators, and continuing benefit of the Bee Cave Public Library. With live music, restaurants, shops, and a multi-screen theater, it’s a day-long family event. To date, more than $101,000 has been raised for the library though sponsorships, registrations, and outright donations. All of the money raised goes to the Friends of Bee Cave Public Library, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting and promoting the Bee Cave library.

The Rolling Sculpture Car Show gives back to our community in many ways.  The funds raised by the show support an annual scholarship program by the Friends of the Library for college-bound teen volunteers who have donated their time and talents to the library during their high school years. Special programs supporting literacy for young children, lifelong learning for adults, and service projects by the library's Teen Advisory Board have also been underwritten by car show funds. Since 2022, the Friends have used car show funds to underwrite the new community-wide Books and Bees Festival

featuring author panels, bee education, children's activities, and live music in a family-friendly setting at the Hill Country Galleria, the site of the Rolling Sculpture Car Show.

“The Rolling Sculpture Car Show has been a real difference-maker for us,” said Library Director Barbara Hathaway. “There are never enough funds to meet all the needs of a library growing as fast as Bee Cave’s. We are so grateful to our sponsors and all the show participants, and look forward to seeing everyone again at this year's show.”
